Tomasz Orlik

Member of the Management Board responsible for Operational Matters

Tomasz Orlik completed a Master’s degree and doctoral studies at the Warsaw School of Economics and postgraduate studies at the University of Insurance and Banking in Warsaw. He has a securities broker licence.

In his professional career to date, he has mainly been responsible for projects connected with the management of funds, assets and risk. In 1992, he commenced handling trust funds in Bank Pekao S.A., and from 1993 he was responsible in Financial Services Ltd. for consulting projects. In 1997, he became a Director at Pioneer TFI S.A. and then the member of the Pioneer PTE S.A. Management Board. In 2000, he was engaged in the creation of Pioneer Pekao Investment Management S.A. and appointed Vice-President of the Management Board. From 2001 he was the member of the Pioneer Pekao TFI S.A. Supervisory Board, and from 2010 to 2018 the Vice-President of the company's Management Board. During his work for the Pioneer Investments Group, he was engaged in restructuring projects in the region of Central and Eastern Europe and the implementation of IT systems for the management of assets and risks.

Author of several publications on the capital market, investment funds, pension products and savings of households in Poland.

He was a participant of the manager development programme, “Management”, organised by ICAN Institute and Harvard Business School.
