What challenges are contemporary leaders facing - summary of the EKF debate

On October 13, as part of the 10th European Financial Congress, the debate "Not only finance, i.e. leadership, cooperation, competences and technologies as key factors in overcoming the crisis" was held, hosted by PFR TFI. At this point, we decided to collect the most important conclusions from the debate.

Is it possible to retire as a millionaire?

Out of the 36 OECD countries, the United States has the largest pension market. Its estimated value is 27.5 trillion dollars, which is 64.8% of the total value of the pension market of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. According to data of the Investment Company Institute, almost 20% of all American retirement pension assets were accumulated under the 401K scheme.

How do Polish people accumulate savings?

Even if we put anything aside, we usually keep our savings in deposit accounts or in cash, which means that our money actually loses value instead of growing. How can we prevent this? PPKs (Employee Capital Plans) are a solution that teaches us how to accumulate savings efficiently over a long period.
